Exercise Equipment Training

Holiday Park’s fitness room has two treadmills, four elliptical cross-training machines, stationary bikes and a number of complimentary strength training machines.  Everyone should consult his/her physician before beginning an exercise program.  Exercise shoes are mandatory to use the fitness machines.

Anyone unfamiliar with the equipment should sign up for a free “how- to- use” equipment training session.  Autumn Saxton-Ross from MCRD is here once a month in the morning to demonstrate equipment use.

Volunteer Jim Beckett also provides demonstrations of equipment use weekly, usually on Wednesday afternoon.  Training times are posted on the fitness center door.  Personal trainer JoAnne Zoladz is also available for private pay individual workout evaluations.  Ask to speak with a staff person for JoAnne’s contact information.
